Chapel of the Good Shepherd is a carefully curated environment designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of children, offered in different levels. Level 1 is 3 years old through Kinder, and Level 2 is 1st grade through 5th grade. And coming this fall, we will begin one Toddler session for ages newly walking through 3 years old.

 

Children experience curated materials that help them develop concentration, which fosters contemplation, the beginning of prayer. In the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, everything we do is to aid the young child in falling in love with the Good Shepherd who is already in love with them. Children will come to know Jesus as a real person who lived in a real place and who taught about God’s Kingdom love. They will interact with Biblical geography, the birth and infancy narratives of Jesus, the Kingdom of God parables, and the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. In addition, they will experience special presentations that connect to our sacramental life through baptism and communion. Children will respond to these experiences with deep prayer through art, word, and song.

 

We will have offerings on Sunday mornings (beginning August 9th), Wednesday evenings (beginning September 9th), and a brand new Toddler offering on Wednesday mornings (beginning September 9th). Registration is required, and spots are limited, so register your kiddo(s) before the spots fill up.
